Introduction to Breeds: Aidi

   

The Aidi A.K.A Berber dog breed is an Excellent guard dog and like most dogs has supurb scenting abilities, however this is not a dog breed for a house hold companion reason being this is a breed used as a guardian for herds of sheep and goats.  It also possesses great hunting abilities due to the afore mentioned scenting abilities. In its native North Africa and is considered a medium size breed weighing in at about 55 pounds and standing about 2 feet tall at the shoulder.
